MPO 3 Meter Single-mode (OS2) 12 Strand IP68-MPO Weatherproof Cable. OS2 for use in 9/125um 10G/100G fiber optic networks. Anetfiber ruggedized IP68-MPO Weatherproof Fiber Cables allow for the installation of high performance fiber optics in environments previously believed to be too harsh due to chemical, corrosive gases, dust and water exposure. Suitable for harsh environments, it is the ideal fiber optic connectivity solution for LTE, DAS, or Mobile Cell Towers (FTTA) implementations. To protect the internal fiber from exposure to the elements, each assembly of Anetfiber IP68-MPO fiber cable is equipped with ODVA compliant sealed bayonet locking MPO connectors. This bayonet mechanism seals the delicate fiber inside to withstand elements of the harsh environment such as extreme temperatures, water exposure as well as chemical vulnerability. For flexibility in harsh environment network design, Anetfiber also offers In-Line adapters for fiber cable extensions, bulkhead adapters for enclosures, and high grade adapter dust caps to protect the adapters. If extra network security is required, Anetfiber IP68-MPO fiber cables can be upgraded with an add-on SafetyRing locking system that will safeguard the housing in its place and reduce the opportunity for undue tampering with network connections.
