4-48 core branch optical cables (900µm compact buffer fiber, aramid yarn is a reinforcement element, 2.0mm inner sheath) are used as a subunit. A fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) is positioned at the center of the core as a non-metal strengthening, the subunit is surrounded by FRP around, the subunit is a PVC or LSZH material sheath, and the last layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or low-smoke halogen-free material (LSZH, low smoke, halogen-free, flame retardant) jacket. These cables are suitable for use indoors or outdoors and in wet ducts. The 125micron fibres are individually coloured with a 250micron gel covered primary coating and contained in a single centre tube.
