The SC Multimode Duplex adaptor is used to join two SC connectors together and is usually mounted in a fibre optic patch panel, fibre optic breakout box and more recently in fibre optic wall outlets where a fast fibre link is required in an office environment. By using high quality adapters, this ensures that both ferrules are perfectly aligned and thus minimising losses. The SC Duplex flanged adapters are used to patch connect two SC Duplex connectors to each other. They come is 5 color options to indicate the fiber type as the following: Single Mode adapters come in Blue for UPC or Green for APC and Multi-mode adapters come in Beige for OM1/OM2, Aqua for OM3 and Violet for OM4. Fiber Optic Coupler for SC SC Multi-mode connectors, to extend a fiber optic cable connection or for the use in fiber optic patch panels, with reliable physical contact snap-in connector for a secure connection. All Couplers are equipped with a highly reliable zirconia ceramic ferrule and have a low input loss and a high return loss.
