Product Description

The Fiber optic adapter (also called fiber optic coupler), is a medium designed to connect two fiber optic cables or fiber optic connectors together. It provides a great solution to meet the growing demand for small form factor, high-density fiber optic connectivity. E-2000 fiber optic adaptor are suitable for both PC and APC applications. They are mainly used in telecommunication and networking systems. This E-2000 fiber optic adaptor is constructed with plastic body. The housing colors for each model are differed for easy identification: blue for SM, grey for MM and green for APC. It features low insertion loss and strong temperature stability by adopting high precise ceramic sleeve. Please note this adaptor is only available in simplex version. This E2000 Simplex Adapter allows you to patch together E2000 APC connectors or E2000 APC fiber patch cables quickly. The E2000 coupler is particularly suitable to connect two simplex E2000 for a fast, precisely, quality field connection. The E2000 APC adapters feature zirconia ceramic alignment sleeves which provide precision mating for single-mode applications.
