The Cable Fiber Straight Tip to FDDI Duplex is a cable that is comprised of a FDDI connector, ferrules, cable and multimode ST connector. It is used in fiber distributed data interface networks. The connectors at one end are ST type and at the other end are duplex. The connectors are multimode ST type connectors. The ferrules are made up of either stainless steel or are ceramic. The housing of FDDI connector is made up of a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) molding compound. The strain relief is made up of polypropylene. The thermoplastic elastomer protective cover gives better insulation. The FDDI duplex fiber cable is 75 feet in length. The cord assembly complies with the UL standards.
